Victor Drury the founder of the firm was the Mayor of Dalby and the firm has acted for a significant number of local governments in regional Queensland. Shane Mead who heads our Local Government team has over 30 years experience in acting for Councils. He also holds a Masters of Law degree and the focus of that degree was on planning and environmental law. This firm will not accept instructions from any existing or new client against a Local Government that this firm has acted for irrespective of whether that Local Government instructs this firm in that particular matter.
